VACE Insurance is provided by Chamber Benefits Inc. (CBI), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Vermont Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (VACCE). These services are provided as benefits for employer members and their employees of chambers of commerce in Vermont. VACE provides health insurance through CIGNA for the employees of employers who - are a member in good standing of a chamber of commerce that is a member of VACCE - click the tab "Chambers of Commerce" on the left for a list

CIGNA / VACE Insurance Provides Dependnet Health Coverage to Age 26 Information The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) was signed into law by President Obama on March 23, 2010. One of the provisions of this law requires health care plans to extend dependent care coverage to eligible individuals up to age 26 beginning with the first plan year anniversaries following September 23, 2010 (January 1, 2011 for VACE). VACE / CIGNA is proactively expediting this mandate by extending dependent coverage up to age 26 effective June 1, 2010 to those who are currently covered as dependents - at a time when some enrollees will graduate losing their student status. Dependents that are under the age of 26, but are not now covered under their parent or guardians health insurance will be allowed to enroll as dependents on their parent's health insurance coverage upon the plans renewal January 1, 2011. VACE Insurance Provides Employee Reward VACE is proud to announce that employees covered by both VACE medical and dental insurance will be reimbursed ($50) in December 2010, just in time for holiday shopping or winter expenses. A check for $50 will be sent directly to each employee enrolled in both VACE medical and dental coverage for at least 120 days prior to the Rewards mailing. Studies show that good oral health, strong teeth and healthy gums, lead to a healthy body and reduces the need for medical services. Regular visits to the dentist reduce medical costs. That's a win for the employee, for premium payments, employee productivity/less absenteeism and for VACE Insurance claims. If we can encourage everyone on our plans to maintain both medical and dental coverage, we can hold down premiums. We hope VACE's new Rewards program provides an additional incentive to have both coverages. July enrollment will guarantee that you are Rewards eligible in December 2010. Please contact your employer if they do not currently offer Northeast Delta Dental and you are interested in enrolling. VACE and your chamber of commerce are pleased to offer you these important insurance programs for their business members and their employees. *One $50 check will be sent to each primary policyholder of both a CIGNA Healthcare and Northeast Delta Dental policy.
